What Does a Boxer Do on a Rainy Day?

I had decided to head to the Lebanon area to do some boxing since there are certainly a plethora of new boxes in the area.  I was anxious to see what the new crop of planters had to offer so I headed west in spite of the drizzle that was bouncing off my windshield.  There have been approximately 100 new boxes placed within 20 miles of Lebanon since I had last boxed in that area and as usual, I try to get all of the boxes in a park before moving on to another one.  My first stop was to the Union Tunnel Canal park, one which I have visited many times for other boxes so I was familiar with the layout and with the fact that the North Portal is actually a totally separated section of this park.  I quickly found the boxes there but before I could replace the last box, a man walking a dog in the light rain created a problem with returning the box.  My trusty camera to the rescue!  Love these cattails!

My next stop was to the location of my favorite box of the day, Ancient Evil.  I love graveyard boxes and the clues to this box were kind of spooky when I was actually standing in this old burial ground.  It was nicely done with a well carved stamp.

My last stop for the day was in a park that truly violated one of my biggest dislikes in boxing, boxes every twenty feet with a log book in each in a very nondescript park.  Unfortunately, I had not thought to make some stickers with my stamp on to put in the logbooks so it took me a veryyyyyyyyyy long time to finish up the fourteen boxes that were there.  To make matters worse, when I got home, I found out that there were three more placed in the same park on the same day that I was there.  It is debatable whether I will return for the remaining three boxes.  Probably if I wait long enough, there will be another four or five placed there!
